How to Make Theater Popcorn?

Heat a large pot or popcorn maker over medium heat

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons coconut oil or clarified butter

Add 3 to 4 popcorn kernels and cover the pot

When the test kernels pop, add 1/2 cup popcorn kernels

Cover and shake the pot gently while the popcorn pops

Remove from heat when popping slows to 2 to 3 seconds between pops

Melt 4 to 6 tablespoons butter

Stir in 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt

Pour the butter mixture over the popcorn

Toss well to coat evenly

Add extra salt if desired
