Pat tilapia fillets dry with paper towels

Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika

Heat oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat

Place tilapia in the skillet

Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on the first side

Flip carefully

Cook for 2 to 4 minutes on the second side until the fish flakes easily

Remove from heat

Serve immediately with lemon juice or your preferred sides
