How to Plant a Coconut?

Soak the coconut in water for 2 to 3 days

Select a warm, sunny location with well-draining soil

Dig a hole about 1 foot deep

Place the coconut horizontally or with the pointed end slightly angled down

Cover the coconut with soil, leaving part of it exposed

Water the area thoroughly

Keep the soil consistently moist, not waterlogged

Mulch around the planting area to retain moisture

Protect the coconut from cold temperatures

Wait for sprouting, which may take several weeks to months

Transplant only if needed, once the seedling is established
