Use two standard decks of cards, including jokers
Form teams of two players each, or play one-on-one
Deal 11 cards to each player
Place the remaining cards face down as the stock pile
Turn the top card of the stock pile face up to start the discard pile
The goal is to make melds of three or more cards of the same rank
Jokers and twos are wild cards
A meld must contain at least two natural cards
A meld can contain up to three wild cards
Red threes are bonus cards and must be placed face up immediately
Black threes cannot be melded except when going out
On a turn, draw two cards from the stock or take the entire discard pile if allowed
You may take the discard pile only if you can use the top card in a meld
After drawing, you may make melds or add cards to existing melds
You may add cards only to your own team’s melds
A canasta is a meld of seven cards of the same rank
A natural canasta has no wild cards
A mixed canasta has wild cards
To go out, your team must have at least one canasta
To go out, a player must play all cards from hand
You may go out by discarding your last card if allowed
The round ends when a player goes out
Count points for melded cards and canastas
Subtract points for cards left in hand
Red threes count as bonus points
Wild cards and high cards have different point values
The team with the highest total score wins after the agreed number of rounds
