Choose the correct anchor size and type for the wall and load
Mark the spot where the anchor will go
Drill a hole if the anchor requires one
Insert the anchor into the hole
Tap it gently with a hammer if needed until it is flush with the wall
Turn the screw into the anchor until it is secure
Tighten the screw enough to hold the item firmly
Do not overtighten and damage the drywall
