Choose the correct anchor for the wall type and weight of the item
Mark the spot where the anchor will go
Drill a hole the same size as the anchor
Clean out dust from the hole
Insert the anchor into the hole
Tap it in gently if needed until it is flush with the wall
Place the item or bracket over the anchor
Insert the screw into the anchor
Tighten the screw until secure
Do not overtighten
