Open the document in Microsoft Word
Go to the Design tab
Click Watermark
Select Remove Watermark
If the watermark remains, go to the Header area
Double-click the top of the page to open the header
Select the watermark text or image
Press Delete
If the watermark is in a text box or shape, click it and delete it
If it appears on every page, repeat the removal in the header/footer section
Save the document
