Trim the fake nails as short as possible
Gently file the top layer to break the seal
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip with aluminum foil
Wait 15 to 30 minutes
Check one nail to see if the fake nail is lifting
Gently push off softened acrylic or gel with a cuticle pusher
Re-soak any nails that are still attached
Buff away remaining residue
Wash your hands
Apply cuticle oil and hand moisturizer
