Trim the acrylic nails as short as possible
File the top layer of the acrylic to break the seal
Protect the skin around your nails with petroleum jelly
Soak cotton balls in acetone
Place the soaked cotton on each nail
Wrap each fingertip tightly with aluminum foil or use nail clips
Wait 20 to 30 minutes
Check one nail and gently push the softened acrylic off with a cuticle pusher
Rewrap and soak again if the acrylic is still hard
Buff away any remaining residue
Wash your hands
Apply cuticle oil and hand cream
Do not pry or force the acrylic off
Do not peel the acrylic off
Use pure acetone for best results
Work in a well-ventilated area
Avoid acetone on broken or irritated skin
