Spray penetrating oil on the lug nut and let it soak
Use the correct-size socket and hammer it on if needed
Try a six-point socket instead of a twelve-point socket
Use a lug nut extractor socket
Tap the socket onto the nut with a hammer
Use a breaker bar for more leverage
Apply heat carefully to the lug nut if safe to do so
Use locking pliers if the nut is exposed enough
Cut a slot in the nut with a rotary tool and split it with a chisel
Weld a new nut onto the stripped lug nut
