How to Rotate Your Tires?

Park on a flat, level surface and engage the parking brake

Check your owner’s manual for the recommended tire rotation pattern

Gather a jack, jack stands, lug wrench, and torque wrench

Loosen the lug nuts slightly before lifting the vehicle

Lift one corner of the vehicle with the jack and secure it with jack stands

Remove the wheel and tire

Move the tire to its new position according to the rotation pattern

Reinstall the wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts

Lower the vehicle and remove the jack stands

Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern to the manufacturer’s torque specification

Repeat for the remaining tires

Check tire pressure after rotation

Reset the tire pressure monitoring system if needed

Test drive the vehicle and recheck lug nut torque after a short drive
