Turn off power to the pool light at the breaker
Verify the power is off with a tester
Remove the light fixture screw or clamp from the niche
Pull the light fixture out onto the pool deck
Place the fixture on a dry surface
Open the light housing
Remove the old bulb or LED module
Inspect and replace the gasket if needed
Install the new bulb or LED module
Reassemble the light housing
Check the cord for damage
Coil the cord neatly back into the niche
Place the fixture back into the niche
Secure the screw or clamp
Restore power at the breaker
Test the light operation
Check for leaks or moisture inside the fixture
