Turn off power and let the equipment cool completely
Locate the temperature sensor
Disconnect the sensor wiring or connector
Remove any mounting screws, clips, or brackets
Pull out the old sensor carefully
Compare the new sensor with the old sensor
Install the new sensor in the same position
Secure it with screws, clips, or brackets
Reconnect the wiring or connector
Restore power
Test the system to confirm proper operation
