Check and adjust all tire pressures to the recommended PSI on the driver’s door placard
Inspect the spare tire if your vehicle uses it for TPMS monitoring
Drive the vehicle for 10 to 20 minutes at normal speed
Turn the ignition on without starting the engine
Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the light blinks three times, if equipped
Release the button and start the vehicle
Drive again to allow the system to relearn, if required
Use the vehicle’s infotainment menu to find the TPMS reset or tire pressure reset option, if equipped
Turn the ignition off and back on after resetting, if required
Disconnect the battery for a few minutes only if the owner’s manual specifies this method
Visit a tire shop or dealership if the light stays on after pressures are corrected
