How to Select Multiple Rows in Excel?

Click and drag across the row numbers to select adjacent rows

Click the first row number, hold Shift, and click the last row number to select a range of adjacent rows

Hold Ctrl and click individual row numbers to select non-adjacent rows

Click the top-left corner button above row 1 and left of column A to select the entire sheet

Use Shift + Arrow keys to extend a selection from the active cell

Use Ctrl + Space to select an entire column, then Shift + Arrow keys if needed to expand the selection

Use Shift + Click on row headers to add a continuous block of rows to an existing selection

Use the Name Box to type a row range such as 2:5 and press Enter to select those rows

Use the Find or Filter results and then select the visible rows if working with filtered data
