How To Store Sourdough Bread?

Cool completely before storing

Wrap tightly in paper (preferred) or breathable cloth for short-term storage

For longer storage, wrap in plastic wrap or place in a freezer bag after cooling

Store at room temperature up to 2–3 days in a cool, dry place

Avoid refrigeration for daily use (it can dry the bread faster)

If refrigerated, keep wrapped tightly and use within 3–5 days

Freeze for up to 2–3 months for best quality

Slice before freezing if you prefer easier portioning

Reheat after thawing by toasting or warming in an oven at about 175–200°C (350–400°F) until heated through

Discard if mold appears or if there are off smells or excessive stickiness
