How to Tape Your Ankle?

Gather athletic tape, pre-wrap, and scissors

Clean and dry the ankle and foot

Place the foot at a 90-degree angle

Apply pre-wrap around the foot and lower ankle

Anchor tape around the lower leg above the ankle

Wrap tape around the arch of the foot

Bring tape up and around the ankle in a figure-eight pattern

Add heel locks on both sides of the ankle

Apply additional strips for support as needed

Avoid wrapping too tightly

Check for numbness, tingling, or color change

Remove and retape if circulation is affected
