Start with the foot in a neutral position
Hold the end of the ACE bandage on the top of the foot near the toes
Wrap around the ball of the foot once to anchor it
Bring the bandage diagonally across the top of the foot to the ankle
Wrap around the ankle once
Continue in a figure-eight pattern around the foot and ankle
Overlap each layer by about half the width of the bandage
Keep the wrap snug but not tight
Check that toes stay warm, pink, and able to move
Stop wrapping if there is numbness, tingling, or increased pain
Secure the end with clips or fasteners
Rewrap if the bandage slips or feels too tight
