Gather a self-adhesive bandage or elastic wrap
Hold your wrist in a neutral, relaxed position
Start wrapping at the base of the hand near the wrist
Wrap once around the wrist to anchor the bandage
Continue wrapping around the wrist with slight overlap
Keep the wrap snug but not tight
Avoid covering the thumb unless needed for support
Check that fingers stay warm and can move normally
Secure the end of the wrap with clips or adhesive
Remove and rewrap if there is numbness, tingling, or discoloration
