Measure the wall length and mark the cut locations
Determine the crown moulding spring angle
Set the saw to the correct bevel and miter angles for the spring angle
Cut inside corners with the moulding upside down and against the saw fence
Cut outside corners with the moulding upside down and against the saw fence
Use a miter saw or compound miter saw for angled cuts
Make test cuts on scrap pieces before cutting the final moulding
Label left and right pieces to avoid confusion
Cut one piece slightly long, then trim to fit
Dry-fit each piece before fastening
Use a coping saw for inside corners if needed
Sand or trim edges for a precise fit
Nail the moulding in place after all cuts are confirmed
