Choose the sausage type you want to cook
Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add the sausage to the skillet
Cook and turn the sausage regularly until browned on all sides
Reduce the heat if the sausage is browning too quickly
Cook until the sausage is fully cooked through
Check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F for pork or beef sausage, or 165°F for poultry sausage
Remove the sausage from the heat
Let it rest briefly before serving
