Insert the flash drive into your Mac
Open Disk Utility
Select the flash drive from the sidebar
Click Erase
Enter a name for the drive
Choose a format
Choose a scheme if needed
Click Erase to confirm
Wait for the process to finish
Click Done
Eject the flash drive safely
