Insert the SD card into your Mac
Open Disk Utility
Select the SD card from the sidebar
Click Erase
Choose a format such as exFAT, MS-DOS (FAT), or Mac OS Extended
Choose a scheme such as Master Boot Record or GUID Partition Map
Enter a name for the card
Click Erase to format the SD card
Wait for the process to finish
Eject the SD card safely when done
