Insert the SD card into your Mac’s SD card slot or connect an SD card reader
Open Disk Utility
Select the SD card from the sidebar
Click Erase
Enter a name for the SD card
Choose a format
Choose Scheme if available
Click Erase
Wait for the process to complete
Click Done
Eject the SD card safely
