Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C)
Remove the husks and silk from the corn
Rinse the corn and pat it dry
Brush the corn lightly with oil or melted butter
Sprinkle with salt and any desired seasonings
Place the corn on a baking sheet or directly on the oven rack
Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, turning halfway through
Remove when the kernels are tender and lightly browned
Serve hot with butter, salt, or toppings of choice
