Park the car on a flat surface and make sure the wheels are cool and clean
Remove the wheel if needed for easier access
Measure the wheel diameter from one bead seat to the opposite bead seat
Measure the wheel width from one bead seat to the opposite bead seat
Measure the bolt pattern by counting the lug holes and measuring the distance between them
Measure the center bore diameter of the hub opening
Measure the offset from the wheel centerline to the hub mounting surface
Check the wheel’s backspacing if needed
Verify the rim size markings stamped on the inside of the wheel
Record all measurements in inches or millimeters as required
