Turn on the device you want to control
Press and hold the Setup button until the red light stays on
Press the device button you want to program
Enter the correct GE universal remote code for your device
Point the remote at the device and test the Power button
If the device turns off, press the same device button to save the code
If the device does not respond, repeat the steps with another code
If no code works, use the code search method
Press and hold Setup until the red light stays on
Press the device button
Press Power repeatedly until the device turns off
Press Enter or the device button to lock in the code
Test all major functions after programming
Repeat the process for each additional device
