Crack 2 to 3 eggs into a bowl
Add a pinch of salt and pepper
Whisk the eggs until well combined
Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat
Add a small amount of butter or oil to the pan
Pour the eggs into the pan
Let the eggs cook until the edges begin to set
Sprinkle shredded cheese over one half of the omelette
Cook for a short time until the cheese starts to melt
Fold the omelette in half
Cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute
Slide the omelette onto a plate
Serve immediately
