1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup fresh or frozen berries
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl
Whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla in another bowl
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed
Gently fold in berries
Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat
Pour batter onto the skillet
Cook until bubbles form on the surface
Flip and cook until golden brown
Serve warm with syrup or toppings of choice
