How to Cook a Turkey Leg Oven?

Preheat the oven to 375°F

Pat the turkey leg dry

Rub the turkey leg with oil or melted butter

Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and any desired herbs

Place the turkey leg in a roasting pan or baking dish

Add a little water or broth to the pan if desired

Cover loosely with foil

Bake for 45 minutes

Remove the foil

Continue baking for 30 to 45 minutes

Baste once or twice during baking if desired

Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the thickest part

Let the turkey leg rest for 10 to 15 minutes before serving
