How to Cook Potatoes Skins?

Preheat the oven to 400°F to 425°F

Wash and scrub the potatoes

Dry the potatoes thoroughly

Pierce each potato with a fork

Bake the potatoes until tender

Let the potatoes cool slightly

Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise

Scoop out most of the flesh, leaving a thin layer inside the skin

Brush the skins with oil or melted butter

Season with salt and pepper

Place the skins on a baking sheet

Bake until the skins are crisp

Add toppings such as cheese, bacon, or green onions

Return to the oven until the toppings are melted and heated through

Serve hot
