Heat a skillet over medium heat
Add a small amount of oil if needed
Place sausage links in the skillet
Cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides
Reduce heat if they brown too quickly
Cover the skillet briefly to help cook through
Cook until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for pork or beef sausage, or 165°F for poultry sausage
Remove from heat
Let rest for a few minutes before serving
