Use frozen chicken breasts only if they are individually frozen and not stuck together
Preheat the oven to 350°F to 400°F
Place the frozen chicken breasts in a baking dish or on a sheet pan
Brush or spray lightly with oil
Season with salt, pepper, and desired spices
Bake covered for 20 to 30 minutes
Uncover and continue baking until fully cooked
Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F
Let the chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing
For stovetop cooking, place frozen chicken breasts in a skillet with a little oil and cover
Cook over medium-low heat, turning occasionally
Add a small amount of water or broth if needed to prevent drying
Continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 165°F
For pressure cooking, add frozen chicken breasts with liquid to the pot
Cook on high pressure for about 10 to 15 minutes depending on thickness
Allow natural release for a few minutes before opening
For slow cooking, do not cook frozen chicken breasts from frozen
Thaw chicken breasts in the refrigerator, cold water, or microwave before using in a slow cooker
Avoid cooking frozen chicken breasts in a way that leaves the outside overcooked and the inside undercooked
Use a meat thermometer to confirm doneness
