Measure and mark the cut line on the glass tile with a non-permanent marker
Put on safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves
Place masking tape over the cut line to help reduce chipping
Use a glass cutter or tile cutter with a scoring wheel
Score the tile once along the marked line with firm, even pressure
Place the scored line over the edge of a work surface or tile nippers
Snap the tile cleanly along the score line
Use running pliers if needed to break the tile along the score
For curved or small cuts, use glass tile nippers to remove small sections
For detailed cuts, use a wet saw with a diamond blade made for glass
Cut slowly with the wet saw to minimize cracking
Smooth sharp edges with a rubbing stone or diamond file
Clean the tile after cutting to remove glass dust and residue
