Open the Downloads folder in Finder
Locate the file you want to delete
Right-click the file and select Move to Trash
Or select the file and press Command + Delete
Empty the Trash if you want to remove it permanently
To delete a download from the browser, open the browser’s Downloads list
Find the downloaded file
Remove it from the list if the browser allows it
If the file is still on your Mac, delete it from the Downloads folder as well
