Open the Downloads folder in Finder
Select the files you want to delete
Drag the selected files to the Trash
Right-click the Trash and choose Empty Trash
Use Command + Delete to move selected files to the Trash
Open Safari, click Downloads, and remove downloaded items from the list if needed
Open Chrome, go to Downloads, and clear the download history if needed
Open Firefox, go to Downloads, and remove items from the list if needed
Check the Downloads folder in the Dock if it is there
Delete large or old files you no longer need
Use Finder search to find downloaded files by file type or date
Empty the Trash to permanently remove deleted downloads
