Find the mirror’s weight
Choose wall anchors rated above the mirror’s weight
Locate wall studs with a stud finder
Mark the hanging point on the wall
Measure and mark the mirror’s hardware position
Use a level to align the marks
Drill pilot holes if needed
Install appropriate anchors or screws into studs
Attach heavy-duty picture wire, D-rings, or mirror brackets
Lift the mirror with help
Hang the mirror on the installed hardware
Check that the mirror is level and secure
Add safety clips or anti-tip straps if needed
