Check the battery icon in the menu bar
Look for a lightning bolt on the battery icon
Hover over the battery icon to see “Charging” or “Power Source: Power Adapter”
Click the battery icon to see the current charge status
Check if the battery percentage is increasing
Look for the charging light on the MagSafe connector, if your Mac has one
Open System Settings, then Battery, to view charging status
If using a USB-C charger, confirm the charger is connected securely
If the battery says “Not Charging,” check the power adapter and cable
If the battery is full, it may show “Charged” instead of “Charging”
