Stand facing the blinds
Locate the bottom rail or pull cord
If there is a cord, hold it firmly
Pull the cord downward and slightly toward the center to release the lock
Lower the blinds to the desired height
Release the cord to lock the blinds in place
If there is a wand or handle, pull it straight down gently
If the blinds are cordless, grasp the bottom rail
Pull the bottom rail downward evenly
Stop at the desired position
If the blinds resist, check for a locking mechanism
Avoid forcing the blinds down
Make sure nothing is caught in the slats or tracks
