Measure the window width and decide the rod placement
Mark the bracket positions with a pencil
Use a level to keep the marks even
Check for wall studs or use wall anchors if needed
Drill pilot holes at the marked spots
Attach the brackets with screws
Slide the curtain onto the rod
Place the rod into the brackets
Tighten any bracket screws or set screws
Adjust the curtains so they hang evenly
