How To Update Graphics Driver?

Identify your GPU model and current driver version (Windows: Device Manager → Display adapters → Properties → Driver tab)

Download the latest driver package from the official GPU vendor website (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel)

Disconnect from the internet (optional but recommended)

Uninstall the existing driver (optional)

NVIDIA: Use NVIDIA installer “Clean installation” option or run Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in Safe Mode

AMD: Use AMD Cleanup Utility or the installer’s clean option

Intel: Use the installer to perform a clean install if available

Boot into Safe Mode (if using DDU) and run the cleanup tool

Install the new driver package

Run the downloaded installer

Choose “Custom” (if available) and select “Perform a clean installation” if you want a full reset

Reboot your PC after installation completes

Verify the driver update

Windows: Device Manager → Display adapters → Properties → Driver tab

Or use vendor control panel (NVIDIA Control Panel / AMD Software / Intel Graphics Command Center)

If issues occur, roll back or reinstall

Windows: Device Manager → Display adapters → Properties → Driver tab → Roll Back Driver (if available)

Or reinstall the previous known-stable driver version from the vendor site
