Identify your GPU model and current driver version (optional)
Download the latest NVIDIA driver from https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
Choose your GPU, operating system, and language
Download the driver package
Close any running applications (optional)
Run the downloaded installer
Select one of these options:
Express (recommended for most users)
Custom (to enable a clean install)
If using Custom, select Perform a clean installation
Accept the license agreement
Click Install
Wait for the installation to complete
Restart your PC when prompted
Verify the driver update:
Right-click the desktop → NVIDIA Control Panel (optional)
Or open Device Manager → Display adapters → confirm NVIDIA GPU driver version
Or open GeForce Experience (if installed) → Drivers tab → confirm the installed version
If you need to roll back:
Device Manager → Display adapters → NVIDIA GPU → Properties → Driver tab → Roll Back Driver (if available)
