Place the quick square against the edge of the board
Align the fence of the square with the board edge
Slide the square to the desired measurement mark
Mark the line along the blade edge
Use the 45-degree edge for miter marks
Use the 90-degree edge for square cuts
Check the square is seated firmly before marking
Repeat for each cut or layout mark
