Measure the backsplash area
Gather materials and tools
Turn off power to outlets and remove cover plates
Clean and dry the wall surface
Mark a level starting line
Plan tile layout and dry fit pieces
Apply adhesive or thin-set to a small section
Press backsplash tiles or panels into place
Use spacers if needed
Cut tiles or panels to fit edges and outlets
Let the adhesive cure
Apply grout between tiles if required
Wipe off excess grout
Seal grout if needed
Reinstall outlet covers and trim
Clean the finished backsplash
