Identify the start date of one cycle
Identify the start date of the next cycle
Count the number of days between the two start dates
Include the first day of the first cycle in the count
Use the same method for each cycle to find an average if needed
Add all cycle lengths together
Divide by the number of cycles counted
Record the result as the cycle length in days
