Crack 2 to 4 eggs into a bowl
Add a pinch of salt and black pepper
Whisk until fully combined
Heat a nonstick skillet over low to medium-low heat
Add a small amount of butter
Pour the eggs into the skillet
Stir gently with a spatula as they begin to set
Add shredded cheese when the eggs are still slightly soft
Continue stirring until the cheese melts and the eggs are softly scrambled
Remove from heat immediately
Serve warm
