Remove the valve cap from the tyre
Press the gauge firmly onto the valve stem
Hold it in place until the reading stops changing
Read the displayed pressure on the gauge
Check the unit shown, such as PSI, bar, or kPa
Compare the reading with the recommended tyre pressure
Repeat for each tyre
Refit the valve cap after checking
