Align the lock to the correct starting position
Enter the first number by turning the dial in the required direction
Pass the first number the required number of times if needed
Enter the second number by turning the dial in the opposite direction
Enter the third number by turning the dial in the required direction
Stop exactly on each number
Pull the shackle or open the lock once the combination is complete
If the lock does not open, reset the dial and try the sequence again
