Measure the window width and height
Choose inside mount or outside mount
Gather a drill, screws, brackets, level, pencil, and tape measure
Mark the bracket positions evenly on the window frame or wall
Drill pilot holes if needed
Attach the brackets with screws
Insert the blinds into the brackets
Secure the blinds according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Test the blinds to make sure they raise, lower, and tilt properly
Adjust the alignment if needed
