How To Grout Tile?

Gather grout, grout float, bucket, sponge, clean water, and microfiber cloth

Make sure tile adhesive is fully cured

Remove spacers and clean debris from joints

Mix grout according to the manufacturer’s instructions

Let the grout slake if required

Mix again before use

Apply grout diagonally across the tile joints with a grout float

Press grout firmly into the joints

Hold the float at an angle and scrape off excess grout

Work in small sections

Wait until the grout firms up slightly

Wipe the tile surface with a damp sponge in light passes

Rinse the sponge often and change water as needed

Shape and smooth grout lines with the sponge or finger if needed

Remove grout haze with a clean microfiber cloth after initial drying

Allow grout to cure for the recommended time

Seal the grout if the product requires sealing

Avoid heavy use or water exposure until fully cured
